WHY SHOULD YOU HAVE A GLASS WITH US
In 1995, when ‘Micro’ ‘Soft’ was still two words, Aileen extended her passion for Mcdonald’s cheeseburgers to technology. She worked in a technology career for years while enjoying her natural knack for it, and working for various sized companies in various verticals. After the downfall of the dot.com era, Aileen decided to pursue her original passion for hospitality through various jobs as a bartender, barista, server, and more. Eventually making the brave decision to return to school to enhance her culinary expertise, she enrolled in the California Culinary Academy to obtain a degree in Hospitality Management. Molding in to her new role as a self proclaimed “foodie”, she proudly shook hands with Chef Martin Yan on graduation day.
In a rough economy Aileen found it difficult to locate a job in the culinary field and fell back into technology, working as a senior project manager for years, with her passion for hospitality a constant dream. In 2013 she took a leap of faith and took her career in to her own hands by taking the first steps in opening her very own wine bar, with the firm mind set that, “Much like the life cycles of grapes to wine we realize (as we hope our guests do), that great care and appreciation must be taken to produce the highest quality results.”
As a result Amie Wine Bar was born, a place to meet friends, enjoy the company of others, and indulge in your passion.
